Dr. Shivam Patel is a skilled and dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon with comprehensive expertise in the management of bone, joint, trauma, and sports-related conditions. He holds an MBBS and MS in Orthopaedics and has undergone advanced fellowship training in Trauma and Joint Replacement, as well as Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries.
He has further refined his surgical skills through specialized training in Robotic Knee Replacement, enabling precision-driven and patient-specific joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Patel has successfully completed multiple AO Trauma courses, including Basic, Advanced, and AO Masters training, with special focus on fractures around the knee. He is also formally trained in the management of pelvic and acetabular fractures, allowing him to treat complex, high-energy trauma cases with accuracy and safety. Additionally, he is ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certified, ensuring systematic, evidence-based trauma care.
Dr. Patel has gained extensive clinical experience by working closely with senior and renowned orthopaedic surgeons in Pune, Mumbai, and other parts of India, which has significantly shaped his strong surgical expertise and patient-centric approach.
His areas of specialization include complex orthopaedic trauma, pelvic and acetabular fractures, joint reconstruction, joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopy, sports injury management, and spine disorders. He also has special expertise in the medical management of Hip Avascular Necrosis (AVN), helping many patients delay or avoid surgical intervention whenever possible.
Dr. Patel is trained in deformity correction procedures and rehabilitation, ensuring holistic care from accurate diagnosis to complete functional recovery. He has a special interest in foot and ankle trauma and deformity correction, offering advanced and individualized treatment solutions.
A passionate marathon runner, Dr. Patel brings a unique perspective to sports injury prevention, endurance training–related musculoskeletal care, and rehabilitation, allowing him to better understand and treat the needs of active individuals and athletes.
